Esta cuenta, nacida en España, se encarga de difundir contenido feminista de calidad en temas que afectan a las mujeres como la propia percepción, la imagen corporal… Asimismo, difunden citas de personajes importantes del feminismo, una manera más de proliferar el mensaje de igualdad que tanta falta hace en el mundo.

LAS GRANDES OLVIDADAS es un proyecto que nace de la idea de visibilizar a todas esas mujeres que tienen o han tenido influencia en diversos campos relacionados con la educación. Un grupo de jovenes estudiantas han inundado la Facultad de Educación con sus citas. Esta es la cuenta oficial de la Fundación Proyecto Mujeres de Venezuela. En sus publicaciones podrás encontrar explicaciones de problemas que afectan a las mujeres en el mundo como el aborto y la percepción social del mismo, la violencia contra la mujer. El Instagram de @proyectomujeres sirve como sitio de denuncia y de debate sobre estos temas y muchos más que pueden interesar a cualquier feminista.

Una #mujerpoderosa de nuestro país falleció este domingo. El feminismo venezolano no se cuenta sin contarla a ella. Ixora Rojas fue una gran dirigente de Acción Democrática y además, la primera mujer en dirigir el principal órgano legislativo nacional (para entonces Congreso de la República) en el año 1998. La abogada zuliana fue un peso pesado en la política de los 80 y 90s, abriéndose paso en un mundo de varones desde la Secretaría Nacional de mujeres del blanco. Su contribución a leyes en materias entendidas como femeninas fue notable. Familia e infancia fueron bandera en su quehacer político. En el año 2008 pasó a presidir la Asociación Latinoamericana de Mujeres Socialdemócratas y aspiró como candidata independiente para la gobernación del Zulia. Abrió caminos, sin duda, para otras mujeres venezolanas que buscan hacer política. Esta no le debería extrañar a nadie. La actriz británica, conocida por su papel de Hermione Granger en Harry Potter, es una feminista declarada y una líder de opinión en este respecto, siendo incluso la artífice principal de la campaña He for She que introdujo la ONU Mujeres y con la que ha recorrido el mundo llevando un mensaje de igualdad.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the gender equality youth activists (Elizabeth, Mervis, Patricia and Tamara) I met with back in Lilongwe, Malawi. We discussed the issues girls face in Malawi and how organisations like @CAMFED, @UNWOMEN and the Malawi Girl Guides Association are helping them overcome these challenges. There is lots of work to be done, and more resources are desperately needed, but I’m hopeful for the future after seeing the enthusiasm these young women have for change. I know they will be holding President Mutharika to his commitment to end child marriage in Malawi within five years! #goal5 My jacket and trousers are from @edun.
